The Centre for Logic and Language is part of the Institute of Philosophy and has been created to produce and support high quality research on logic and language in philosophy and neighbouring disciplines.

The Centre will soon provide information about other activities and events in its subject area and will create on-line resources for gathering and improving access to research papers on topics in the area of philosophy of language, logic and linguistics.
We expect activities to grow and will look for opportunities for further collaborations with our partners.
Professor Barry C Smith launched the new research centre at the inaugural conference of 28-29 November 2008.
